Our Services

Alberta Animal Services has been in operation since 1988 and is located inside the City of Red Deer. Alberta Animal Services provides Animal Care & Control Services, Animal Rescue and Adoption Services for Central Alberta. We service the City of Red Deer, Town of Stettler and surrounding municipalities in Central Alberta for Animal Care & Control. Please contact us to find out if we service your area.

Alberta Animal Services strives to foster a safe environment where people and pets can live together in a community where bylaws are enforced and are essential by setting standards of acceptable behavior.

What is an Animal Bylaw?

Alberta Animal Services provides all animal-related services in Red Deer, including enforcement of the City’s dog and cat bylaw. This allows Alberta Animal Services to work with the citizens of Red Deer to ensure that cats, dogs, their owners, and neighbours live together in safety and harmony.
